NIKE CUP OF CHAMPIONS & GALLAGHER FRIENDLIES - GENERAL INFORMATION

The 17th Annual 2024 Nike Cup of Champions/Gallagher Friendlies will host some of the finest youth soccer clubs from the Midwest and across the United States. This high-level competition, is designed to promote quality soccer and player development over wins and losses. And we are hoping to blow this out of the water again this year with 200+ teams.

As an annual event, the Gallagher Friendlies has now become highly anticipated by youth soccer clubs because of its emphasis on quality soccer and top-level competition.

Four games guaranteed over Saturday, Sunday & Monday. St. Louis Scott Gallagher is proud to host the 2024 Event! This event is perfect for both A and B level teams and we will have Premier and Gold Flights in most 7v7, 9v9 and 11v11 Divisions. Early interest from teams in all around the Midwest!

ROSTERS/LOAN PLAYERS

U9-U10 will play 7v7 (U10 in the Nike Cup of Champions Divisions is 9v9)
U11-U12 will play 9v9
U13-U19 will play 11v11

The team or teams must be entered for competition in a league affiliated with US Youth or US Club Soccer. State and National select teams are eligible. Prior to the start of competition, teams must present proof of affiliation and permission to travel. Validated State US Youth or US Club Soccer member passes, as well as medical release forms, are required for all players participating in the tournament. All Team Officials must have US Youth or US CLUB Soccer Member Passes.

GUEST PLAYERS

A maximum of 5 guest players per team is allowed, however, a team using guest players may have no more than their maximum roster size. Example 22 for U13-U19, 18 for U12, and 14 for U9-U11. AWARDS

There will only be participation awards for this event for the youngest teams.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS

Teams participating in the Gallagher Friendlies MUST (as a condition of acceptance) make all hotel accommodations using our The THS Company. Teams not using our tournament housing service will be disqualified. Please contact:

APPLICATION PROCEDURES & REFUND POLICY

If you wish to participate in the 17th Annual Event, please complete and submit the online application and team information forms at www.slsgtournaments.com. Application Form and Team Information Form MUST be submitted online. All teams must send in payment within 7 days of applying and all teams must pay by August 1, 2024. Payment will be accepted by credit card or check only. No teams will be considered unless they pay in full. ALL teams will be accepted.

PAYMENT IS DUE AT THE APPLICATION DEADLINE. ALL TEAMS SHOULD BE PAID BY AUGUST 1, 2024.

APPLICATION ENTRY FEE: (No add on or parking fees)

7v7=$750

9v9=$895 (This includes U10 Nike Cup of Champions division)

U13-U15 11v11=$975
U16-U18 11v11=$999

*GotSport will charge all teams $20 for our event

Acceptances will be posted on August 10, 2024 or sooner. Again, we plan to accept all teams.

The LAST day to withdraw from the event and receive a refund is August 1, 2023.

Under no circumstances whatsoever will the Nike Cup of Champions/Gallagher Friendlies Tournament Committee or St. Louis Scott Gallagher be responsible for any expenses including the Tournament entry fee) incurred by any team. This includes a situation where the Tournament or any game(s) is canceled/terminated in whole or part.

TEAM INFORMATION

We pride ourselves on our reputation as being the top Tournament provider in the Midwest! In order for the staff and our bracketing Committee to continue to further this standard of excellence, it is imperative that they have accurate and specific information on all teams wishing to participate. To achieve the appropriate level of competition, it is imperative that the application be completed in its entirety. You should use the NOTES section under the requests tab on your application to add any information that will help us accept and properly bracket your team. Teams not providing accurate and full information may be dropped from the event.
