Not everyone knows what the Upper 90 Program is really about. On the surface, it looks like a bake sale, a car wash, or other creative fundraising ideas. But behind the scenes, it’s something much more powerful. Upper 90 is kids in our club helping kids they’ve never met—kids their own age in St. Louis who dream of playing soccer but cannot afford the opportunity. Our South Side City Program began because SLSG coaches saw a need: to provide year-round training, games, and equipment to underprivileged youth in St. Louis who love the game but don’t have the resources to play. Without the Upper 90 Program—and without our players turning their time, talent, and creativity into fundraising efforts—this program would not survive. The money raised each year goes directly toward covering the costs of running the South Side Program completely free of charge for the 82 kids who now get to wear an SLSG jersey and play the game they love. And this year, our athletes didn’t stop there. Their efforts also supported the Ronald McDonald House and Stray Rescue—two organizations making an incredible impact across the St. Louis community. Upper 90 is the heart of who we are at SLSG: young athletes realizing they have the power to create joy, hope, and opportunity for others.
The best way to wrap up the season? Giving back together. A look back at the night our RL girls made blankets for kids at St. Louis Children’s Hospital this week. ❤️ #mtag

Every year, our Youth Academy takes on Upper 90 projects to support kids in need. This year, the girls raised $14,060 to provide Southside players with soccer bags, jackets, hats, gloves, and warm layers. Last night they wrapped every gift together, celebrating a tradition that’s become one of the most meaningful parts of our club culture. 💙⚽️🎁
