SPRING FESTIVAL & COLLEGE SHOWCASE - GENERAL INFO

The Boys College Showcase is the premier Boys College Showcase in the Midwest annually. Now we've changed the name and added all ages of boys U9-U19. Welcome to the Proving Ground! St. Louis Scott Gallagher is proud to host the 2024 event at the Midwest's newest and finest turf facility - Creve Coeur Park Soccer Complex! PLUS, check teams must check out the WWT Soccer Park in the SOCCER CAPITAL of the UNITED STATES.  This facility hosted USMNT games in the 80-90's!  Now it's the state-of-the-art facility with a 4,000+ stadium field with a full restaurant overlooking the stadium!  This is the ultimate place for top clubs and players to be seen by over a hundred college coaches looking for great soccer talent. This event has been ranked very high in the National Tournament scene for several years. This showcase gives athletes a chance to shine at one of the biggest stages in our country for boys youth soccer. And talk about diversity…You’ll play teams from other states 90% of the time! The St. Louis Scott Gallagher Spring Festival & College Showcase offers:

•  TURF fields - All games will be played on brand new, state of the art synthetic turf!

•  Minimum 3-game guarantee (And they are 40 minute halves for U16 & Above)

•  Certified referees

•  Athletic trainers on-site

•  Bench’s at each field

•  Game balls

Under 9-15 Age Groups

The SLSG Spring Festival & College Showcase will be offering Under 9-15 competition for those clubs that want to travel with younger teams as well. The Under 9-10 boys will play 7v7, U11-U12 will play 9v9 and U13-U15 will play 11v11.  All of the U15 and younger ages will play for a championship!

Showcase Format for U16, U17, U18 and U19 Age Groups

The U16, U17 and U19 teams will play two games on Saturday and one on Sunday. SOME teams may play one on Saturday and two on Sunday. Please let us know if you would prefer two games on Sunday. Games will be 40 minute halves for all ages. This will allow players to get maximum exposure to college coaches while allowing them proper rest between games. The tournament will make every attempt to schedule games to allow teams adequate travel time to return home. If you are a traveling team and WANT a Friday night game for one game each day - just request it on your application!

Team Participation and Loan Players

All teams in the Showcase may enter with a maximum of 22 players on their rosters. The team or teams must be entered for competition in a league affiliated with US Youth or US Club Soccer or foreign governing body. Teams from Canada and Mexico must have permission to travel from their National Federation. State and National select teams are eligible as well. Prior to the start of competition, teams must present proof of affiliation and permission to travel. Validated State US Youth or US Club Soccer member passes, as well as medical release forms, are required for all players participating in the tournament. All Team Officials must have US Youth Soccer or US Club Soccer Member Passes unless traveling from a foreign country.

Guest Players

A maximum of 3 guests are allowed for U9 through U15. A maximum of 5 guest players per team is allowed for all High School aged teams, however, a team using guest players may have no more than 22 players registered for the tournament. Guest players will need the proper state approved paperwork filled out. Individual Guest players looking for a team in the event can email us at mbohnak@slsgsoccer.com.

Awards

There will be awards for all U9-U15 divisions.

College Player Profile Book

Upon notification of team acceptance, the College Showcase will make available to all attending U-16, U-17, U18 & U-19 teams, an opportunity to submit their team into our professionally bound PDF “College Player Profile Book”.  This book, detailing specific academic and athletic merits of each player, will be made available to the attending college coaches. These are online and the college coaches can download the age groups they are most interested in.

Hotel Accommodations

Teams participating in the SLSG Spring Festival & College Showcase MUST (as a condition of acceptance) make all hotel accommodations using our The THS Company. There are no exceptions to this rule. Teams not using our tournament housing service will be disqualified. Please contact:

Application Procedures & Refund Policy

If you wish to participate in the 26th Annual Event, please complete and submit the online application and team information forms at www.slsgtournaments.com. Application Form and Team Information Form MUST be submitted online. All teams must send in payment within 7 days of applying. Payment will only be accepted by check. All payments should be received by 2/15/2024.

Application Entry fee for U16-BU19: $1350

Application Entry fee for U13-U15: $950

Application Entry fee for U11-U12: $850

Application Entry fee for U9-U10: $700

Application Deadline: February 15, 2024

Acceptances will be posted on February 23, 2024

The LAST day to withdraw from the event and receive a refund is February 15, 2024.

**Got Sport will assess a fee of $20 per team for all teams applying for our event.  This will be in addition to the entry fee charged by St. Louis Scott Gallagher.

Credit card payments will be charged an additional 2% to process.

Under no circumstances whatsoever will the SLSG Spring Festival & College Showcase Tournament Committee or St. Louis Scott Gallagher be responsible for any expenses (including the Tournament entry fee) incurred by any team. This includes a situation where the Tournament or any game(s) is canceled or terminated in whole or part.

Team Information

We pride ourselves on our reputation as being the top College Showcase in the Midwest! In order for the staff and our bracketing Committee to continue to further this standard of excellence, it is imperative that they have accurate and specific information on all teams wishing to participate. To achieve the appropriate level of competition, it is imperative that the application be completed in its entirety. You should use the NOTES section under the requests tab on your application to add any information that will help us accept and properly bracket your team. Teams not providing accurate and full information may be dropped from the event. To add notes, please read our FAQ’s for instructions.

Teams that participated in past divisions include SLSG MLS Next Academy & ECNL, SLSG Elite, Cincinnati United Premier (CUP), Javanon, Ohio Premier, Sockers FC Chicago, SC Wave, Chicago Fire Juniors, Sporting KC, Chicago Magic, Colorado Rush & Minnesota Thunder Academy. This doesn't even include the many teams from Columbia, El Salvador, South Africa, Guatemala and Canada that flock to our event pre Covid.
