FALL CLASSIC- GENERAL INFORMATION

The Girls Fall Classic & College Showcase is the premier Girls College Showcase in the Midwest annually. Welcome to the Proving Ground! St. Louis Scott Gallagher is proud to host the 2023 Event - November 3-5! This is the ultimate place for top clubs and players to be seen by a hundred college coaches looking for great soccer talent. This event has been ranked very high in the National Tournament scene for several years. The St. Louis Scott Gallagher Showcase gives athletes a chance to shine at one of the biggest stages in our country for Girls Youth Soccer.

The following age groups and flights will be offered for the 2023 event:

*Note: Under 8 teams will sign up for U9.  We will brackets U8 team together or assure that teams are bracketed properly.

The SLSG Girls Fall Classic & College Showcase offers:

· Professionally maintained fields

· ALL TURF PLANNED FOR THE EVENT – Creve Coeur, Soccer Park, O'Fallon (IL) Family Sports Park & Lou Fusz Athletic !

· Minimum 3-game guarantee

· Certified referees

· Athletic trainers on-site

· Bench’s at each field

· Game balls

· TONS of College Coaches (Last year over 125 were in attendance)

· Full length games for U15-U18

Showcase Format for U16, U17 and U19 Age Groups

The U16, U17 and U19 teams will play two games on Saturday and one on Sunday. Let us know if you are traveling and would like to play on Friday. SOME teams may play one on Friday. We would like to host a full slate of Friday night games st the world famous St. Louis Soccer Park. Games will be 40 minute halves for the U16’s and 45 minute halves for the U17 & U19’s. This will allow players to get maximum exposure to college coaches while allowing them proper rest between games. The tournament will make every attempt to schedule games to allow teams adequate travel time to return home. Teams will be bracketed against like competition in groups of 4 for U16-U19. There will not be a final game for each bracket of 8. THREE games total.

Team Participation and Loan Players

The Under 8-U10 7v7 can have a maximum of 12 players on their roster. All U11-12 9v9 teams can have a maximum roster of 16 players and U13 through U19 teams may enter with a maximum of 22 players. The team or teams must be entered for competition in a league affiliated with US Youth or US Club Soccer. State and National select teams are eligible. Prior to the start of competition, teams must present proof of affiliation and permission to travel. Validated State US Youth or US Club Soccer member passes, as well as medical release forms, are required for all players participating in the tournament. All team officials including coaches must have US Youth Soccer member passes.

Guest Players

A maximum of 3 guest players per team is allowed, however, a team using guest players may have no more than 22 (18 for U15) players registered for the tournament. Guest players will need the proper state approved paperwork filled out. Individual Guest players looking for a team in the event can sign up online.

Awards

Participation medals for all U8-U9 players and teams. There will be Team and Individual Trophies for all U8-U15 teams finishing as a Finalist or Champion.

College Player Profile Book

Upon notification of team acceptance, the SLSG Girls College Showcase will make available to all attending U-16, U-17 & U-19 teams, an opportunity to submit their team into our professionally bound and typeset “College Player Profile Book”. This book, detailing specific academic and athletic merits of each player, will be made available to the attending college coaches. These can be picked up at the fields or at Team Registration on Friday night.

Hotel Accommodations

Teams participating in the Girls Fall Classic and College Showcase MUST (as a condition of acceptance) make all hotel accommodations using our The THS Company. Teams not using our tournament housing service will be disqualified. Please contact:

Application Procedures & Refund Policy

If you wish to participate in the Girls Event, please complete and submit the online application and team information forms at www.slsgtournaments.com. Application Form and Team Information Form MUST be submitted online. Applications sent via US Mail, Email or FAX will NOT be accepted. All teams must send in payment within 7 days of applying. Payment will only be accepted by check or credit card (2% fee).

9v9 = $915
GU13-GU15 11v11=$999

GU16-GU19=$1400

THERE IS NO PARKING FEE THIS YEAR FOR THE EVENT.

Application Deadline: September 15, 2023
Acceptances will be posted on Tuesday, October 1, 2023
The LAST day to withdraw from the event and receive a refund is September 15, 2023

Under no circumstances whatsoever will the Girls Fall Classic & College Showcase Tournament Committee or St. Louis Scott Gallagher be responsible for any expenses (including the Tournament entry fee) incurred by any team. This includes a situation where the Tournament or any game(s) is canceled/terminated in whole or part.

Team Information

We pride ourselves on our reputation as being the top Girls College Showcase in the Midwest! In order for the staff and our bracketing Committee to continue to further this standard of excellence, it is imperative that they have accurate and specific information on all teams wishing to participate. To achieve the appropriate level of competition, it is imperative that the application be completed in its entirety. You should use the NOTES section under the requests tab on your application to add any information that will help us accept and properly bracket your team. Teams not providing accurate and full information may be dropped from the event.
