ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Upper 90 Program of St. Louis Scott Gallagher recently went to the Herbert Hoover Boys & Girls Club in north St. Louis to conduct an "Intro to Soccer" clinic.
Over 45 boys and girls aged 6-12 years old participated in the clinic which was led by SLSG and STLFC Academy players. A special shout-out to Thomas Urano and Brayden Sellers for leading the skill demonstrations. The Player Development Training (PDT) staff ran four activities including Ball Mastery, Finishing, Speed & Agility and 1v1 games. At the end of the clinic, all of the participants received an STLFC mini-soccer ball.
“The opportunity to do a clinic for Herbert Hoover Boys and Girls Club presented itself through our work with other city organizations," said SLSG Upper 90 Program Director Ken Godat. "The players worked really hard and we all had a blast playing the beautiful game.”
