SLSG IL Boys Elite Program

The Elite Boys Program consists of boys teams U13 through U19. The competition platform consists of participation in the Boys ECNL, local league play (SLYSA), and tournaments.

Boys ECNL

The Boys Elite Clubs National League (Boys ECNL) was founded to improve the daily environment for boys youth soccer players through a collaborative club-based development program featuring competition, player identification, and coaching and club development platforms. The Boys ECNL will include both regular season conference games and cross-conference events, and qualifying teams from the Boys ECNL will advance to the post-season Elite National Premier League (ENPL) Playoffs.

The Boys ECNL is based on the values of grass-roots collaboration and innovation, and supports the independence and freedom of coaches and clubs to fully manage the development path for their players, including the system and style of play, the competitive calendar, and all aspects of the development path. The Boys ECNL will raise standards in training, competition, club organization, and coaching in a holistic development program.

SLSG IL participates in the Boys ECNL Midwest Division along with the following clubs: Eclipse Select Soccer Club, FC Wisconsin, Ohio Elite, Ohio Premier, Western NY Flash, Pittsburgh Riverhounds, FC Pride, Michigan Wolves and Vardar Soccer Club

SLYSA

The local league for teams is ran by St. Louis Youth Soccer Association (SLYSA). The league consists of various teams and clubs from the St. Louis Metro area. There are multiple divisions within each age group for the appropriate level of competition. For more information about SLYSA, visit the league website by clicking here.

Elite teams also participate in two to four tournaments each year. Typically, one of the selected events takes place outside of the St. Louis area, while the others are played locally. The high school aged teams participate in college showcases instead of or in addition to tournaments to assist the players who have interest in playing collegiate soccer.
